Driver Provider is now our Australian division but working In Association with Staffline, truck drivers aren’t just part of what we do — they are everything we do. We’ve built our name on one simple belief: that truck drivers deserve better. Better jobs, better treatment, and better opportunities. And now, we’re proud to bring our proven approach to Australia.
Already New Zealand’s largest independent provider of professional truck drivers, we’re expanding across the Tasman and inviting experienced drivers from Ireland, England, and New Zealand to join us for this exciting next chapter.
Our journey so far
Our story began in the UK in 2000, growing into a team of over 600 people across driving, warehousing, and logistics. By 2014, we shifted gears and brought our expertise to New Zealand, where we quickly saw the same pattern: drivers being treated as just another number.
That’s not how we work.
Staffline was built to change that.
Founded by Mike, a second-generation truckie who’s been behind the wheel for nearly 30 years, Staffline is grounded in real-world transport experience. This isn’t just a job for us — it’s a way of life. We know trucks. We know the people who drive them. And we know what it takes to do it right.

Our unique hiring process
1. Telephone Interview
We make contact with the driver and conduct a telephone interview, asking key questions using our expert knowledge.
2. Face-to-face Interview
If the telephone interview is successful, the next stage is a face to face assessment. Our interviews are low-key and informal.
3. Safety & Quality checks
Ministry of Justice background history check, Driver Check (NZTA), drug test and reference checks.
4. Match to your brief
Once we’re happy the driver is of a high standard, we can match one to your specific requirements.
How we work
Mike talks trucks fluently, and his enthusiasm will show through the interview. We try to make sure the driver is comfortable and at-ease, because an honest and open discussion means we can find the driver the job he wants for the skills he has.
